Room In The Inn Ministry

Our ministry with Room In The Inn runs from November through March each year in coordination with over 100 congregations throughout the Nashville area.  One or two nights per month, we provide ten men warm, clean beds, meals and snacks, showers, clothes, haircuts, and hygiene supplies. Perhaps most importantly, we desire to promote Christ, provide relational blessings and engage in caring conversations with our homeless neighbors during the coldest months of the year. 

This ministry has multiple ways to involve serving our guests and you can serve one time or multiple times throughout the winter season.  

Ways to serve include:

• Providing, food (snacks, dinner or breakfast), hygiene products, haircuts and/or shaves(professional) and Gently used or new clothing.
• Volunteer to be an Innkeeper (sleeping overnight at the building with our guests.
• Volunteer to drive the van.
• Eating dinner and engaging with the guests.
• Setting up beds.
• Cleaning up the following morning.
